SarahPAC: DC Must Grow Up, Get to Work, Live Within Means

Ed. Note: The following letters were sent via Postal Mail by SarahPAC. Every attempt has been made to reproduce them as faithfully as possible to their original formatting.

Though not requested in these letters and not authorized by SarahPAC, now is a good time to bundle a small-donor money bomb with this. Imagine if half of the over 3.5 million supporters on Gov. Palin’s Facebook page donated just $2. SarahPAC would raise $3.5 million minus transaction fees. If half these supporters donated just $5, SarahPAC could have $8.75 million. With $10 donations, half of the supporters on Gov. Palin’s Facebook wall could generate $17.5 million for SarahPAC. Though this fund-raising letter is geared toward mid-range donors, donations of any amount will help SarahPAC and make a big difference.

SarahPAC-North-Star

Dear [Donor],

As one of the strongest and most generous supporters of SarahPAC, I wanted to make sure you saw this recent message from Gov. Palin.

She talks about the recent “sequester” and notes that “D.C. needs to grow up, get to work, and live within its means.”

I hope you’ll take a couple of minutes to read her comments and then consider continuing your support for Gov. Palin and SarahPAC as we head full-force into this new election cycle.

[Donor], as you know, our goal at SarahPAC has always been to help elect a new generation of commonsense conservatives from the grassroots.

We want to elect leaders who won’t back down and fall apart under pressure from the establishment and liberal media.

Men and women with strong convictions, strong values and strong messages.

We know we’re not going to change Washington overnight.

But piece by piece, brick by brick, little by little, we’re putting leaders in place who understand the real problems and are dedicated to getting America back to the vision of our founders.

Back to freedom and prosperity and limited government.

And that’s why I’m so hopeful you’ll continue to support Governor Palin and our SarahPAC team as we head toward the crucial 2014 mid-term election.

Because together we can continue to make a huge difference for this country, [Donor].

The Left wants to elect people who will help Barack Obama “fundamentally transform America.”

We want to elect people who will “fundamentally transform the way Washington does business.”

Leaders who put:

*** real people over petty politics

*** strong principles over empty promises

*** and foundational ideals over self interests

Will you continue to help us, [Donor]?

Can I count on you to continue standing with Governor Palin and SarahPAC?

Will you continue your support for SarahPAC today by sending a contribution of $100, $150, or even $200?

Whether $100, $150, $200, or any other amount, every dollar you can send will make a difference as Governor Palin and our entire SarahPAC team work to elect a new generation of conservative leaders.

Thanks in advance for your generosity and faithfulness.

Sincerely,

Tim Crawford Signature

Americans are sick and tired of yet another ginned-up crisis.

D.C. needs to grow up, get to work, and live within its means.

The real economic Armageddon looming before us is our runaway debt, not the sequester,
which the President advocated for and signed into law and is now running around denouncing because he never had any genuine intention of reining in his reckless spending.

Remember that this sequestration deal came about because of the long debt ceiling standoff in the summer of 2011.

It wasn’t the ideal outcome for anyone, but it did at least include real deficit reduction of about $110 billion per year for 10 years, which is still nowhere near enough to close our massive
deficit.

Keep in mind that since the sequester passed, the President has already hit American
families and small business owners with his tax increases, or “more revenue” as he likes to call it.

The American public doesn’t want tax increases; we want government to rein in its
overspending.

If we can’t stomach modest cuts that would lower federal spending by a mere 0.3% per year out of a current federal budget of $3.6 trillion, then we might as well signal to the whole world that we have no serious intention of dealing with our debt problem.

If we are going to wet our proverbial pants over 0.3% in annual spending cuts when we’re
running up trillion dollar annual deficits, then we’re done.

Put a fork in us.

We’re finished.

We’re going to default eventually and that’s why the feds are stockpiling bullets in case of civil unrest.

If we ARE serious about putting our fiscal house in order, then let’s stop the hysterics, tighten our belts, and take our medicine.

Gov. Palin: “D.C.: Cut the Drama. Do Your Job.”

SarahNET Radio Interviews Kirk Adams, AZ-5 on Bold Leadership

This week on The Palin Radio Update with Kevin Scholla: A perfect ten! Sarah Palin has endorsed ten candidates in 2012 and all ten have appeared on SarahNET Radio! Today it’s Kirk Adams’ turn. Adams is running for the House in Arizona’s 5th District. Also, Governor Palin serves up red meat and barbecue at a Sarah Steelman event! Plus, Ted Cruz cruises to victory, Palin visits Deb Fischer and makes a stop in Iowa, and calling out Dick Cheney on another misfire. TUNE IN NOW to SarahNET Radio ON DEMAND!!!

Adams is one of only three US House of Representatives candidates that Gov. Palin has endorsed in 2012, for she has focused principally on the US Senate this election cycle. Jeff Flake, one of Gov. Palin’s recent Senatorial endorsements is vacating the seat Adams is now running for. Prior to being a US Representative, Adams was Arizona’s Speaker of the House in that state’s House of Representatives.

30,000 Calls to Voters – In One Day – On Palin Endorsement

Scholla and Adams said that only Gov. Palin takes on the establishment of both parties and Adams’ campaign represents that. “We are all Palin all the time,” Adams said. His campaign made over 30,000 phone calls to voters in district in one day, to tout the Gov. Palin endorsement. Adams said, the voters “responded very well” and that the endorsement puts campaign once written off back in the game.

Adams Fought ObamaCare as AZ Speaker….

While serving at the state level, Adams led the Arizona fight against ObamaCare, helping to spearhead state legislation against it, and joining the Goldwater Institute’s lawsuit. Adams had to fight a liberal Attorney General every step of the way on this and other issues.

“ObamaCare worst legislation in a generation. It permanetnly damages the Constitution and will bankrupt states implementing it,” if it is allowed to stay on the books he said.

Bold Leadership…

Under Adams’ Speakership, the Arizona legislature passed SB-1070; took on Card Check; and fought to save the secret ballot in the work place. While Adams was speaker, he also was instrumental in passing a law requiring informed consent on abortion and when Planned Parenthood sued and won, Adams was instrumental in shutting down their abortion services in the state. The Arizona legislature also passed legislation preserving right to keep and bear arms, and on pension reform under Adams’ leadership.

From Free Fall to Surplus

Adams said that when he became speaker, Arizona had the worst deficit in country. “We were in a free fall, and still recovering from six years of a Janet Napolitano spending spree,” he said. “We passed a 30% reduction in spending and now have a surplus,” Adams said. Arizona has a balanced budget, while California still has a multi-billion dollar deficit. Adams said he “can take the same tough-minded leadership to Washington.”

Adams is a small business owner with 22 employees. “I sign both fronts and backs of checks, and I have to make sure expenditures don’t exceed revenue,” he said. “It’s great training for running for office…. we cannot afford to spend our children’s and grand-children’s money. We will have a less prosperous nation.”

Secure the Borders and Foster Legal Immigration

Adams said he supports legal immigration, but we must secure our borders first. “We know how to do it. We did it in San Diego and Yuma sectors. We must do it for the remainder. We have the methods but not will.” Along with SB-1070, Arizona also passed a law imposing sanctions on employers who hire illegal aliens.

Gov. Palin Seeks Patriots, Whether Incumbent or Outsider

Scholla observed that both Adams and Flake do not go along to get along. They are willing to take political risks for the right reasons. Adams was 35 and beat an establishment candidate twice his age when he became Arizona’s Speaker of the House. Adams said he believes that Gov. Palin sees both Jeff Flake and himself as bold leaders.

Scholla said Gov. Palin bases her endorsements in part on character and guts, whether the candidate be an incumbent or an outsider. She seeks great patriots.

To Donate, Volunteer, and Phone Bank…

Kirk Adams’ website is: http://www.kirkadams2012.com.

Adams also invited listeners to email him at info@kirkadams2012.com if they are interested in phone banking for the campaign. He said any like-minded conservative throughout the entire nation is welcome to do so.

Sarah Palin Radio Interviews 2010 Palin Endorsee Rep. Hartzler, MO-4 for Reelection

Representative Vicky Hartzler, who serves the 4th Congressional District in Missouri, discussed with LaDonna Hale Curzon, Host and Executive Producer, Sarah Palin Radio, her reelection strategy to counter an onslaught from high-profile Democrats including Nancy Pelosi. “Democrats have their knives out for Rep. Hartzler because in 2010, with the help of an endorsement from Gov. Palin, she defeated Ike Skelton, a Democrat who had been in office for 34 years,” Curzon said.

Rep. Hartzler is on American Grizzlies United‘s 2012 Primary Candidates List for volunteers to support.

Reelection Run Going Well, Tea Party Still Strong

Rep. Hartzler said her first term has gone very well so far and it has been an “honor to fight for the good people of Missouri and the conservative agenda,” however, she expressed frustration with the Senate and the White House who have been blocking our attempt to create jobs and who continue to circumvent the Constitution, but we’re fighting and I’m glad I can be there and do it.”

Curzon asked Rep. Hartzler if she thought the Tea Party successes of 2010 would carry over into this election cycle.

“I really do. I don’t think the message that we need to live within our means and we need less government and more freedom to abide by the Constitution – I don’t think that has waned at all, and I think people still know that’s what we’ve got to do in this country. They’re still energized and will be out there just as strong this year taking out different Senators and people running who don’t believe in those things. and want to continue taking us down the path of more big government. So, I feel like they do have an impact and I’m very encouraged by all the good work they’ve been doing,” Rep. Hartzler said.

Curzon asked Rep. Hartzler if she has had any polling done on her race for reelection. The Congresswoman did have polling conducted and was very encouraged by the results.

“As you know, after taking out a 34-year incumbent Chairman of the Armed Services Committee, who had been in office since I was a sophomore in high school, and the Democrats had controlled this area my entire life – if you can imagine, they’re not very happy with our victory and want to defeat me this fall and are coming after me with a well-funded candidate from trial attorneys and labor unions, and Emily’s List people. But, I feel good about where we are right now. We’re working very hard and believe we will prevail as a group again in November,” Rep. Hartzler said.

Stark Differences Between Rep. Hartzler and Opponent

“How would you say you differ from your Democrat opponent,” Curzon asked.

“About every aspect,” Rep. Hartzler said. She continued, “[Skelton] for instance, last week said that she thinks it’s ridiculous that we’re still trying to repeal ObamaCare. Well, I can tell you that needs to be repealed. It’s bad for job creation, it’s bad for every family, it’s bad for our freedom, and it needs to go. But, she’s a supporter of Nancy Pelosi’s and received campaign donations from her, and I’m sure would love to vote with her.”

Rep. Hartzler continued delineating the stark differences between the incumbent and herself.

“…she believes in big government, and I believe in individual freedom, and less government, and family values. I’m pro-life….She’s pro-choice. There’s going to be a big difference for the voters this November, but the Missouri Fourth District is conservative, it’s pro-life, it’s pro-gun, and it believes in living within its means, and I believe if we had the funds to get out our message of the good work we’ve been doing – we have a good grassroots organization, that’s working hard already, I feel like we will prevail, but it is going to be a battle and unfortunately, they are coming after me,” she said.

Jobs and Economy Most Critical Issues

Rep. Hartzler said the most critical issue in her district is jobs and the economy, “even though there are a lot of other issues that are very important to us.” She said unemployment is very high in her district, her constituents are hurting, and frustrated that the government keeps wasting precious tax dollars. She said her constituents are also concerned that we are becoming increasingly dependent on foreign countries such as China, because of our ever-increasing debt and deficit. “The main issues that come up over and over again are that we’ve got to get government out of the way and let the private sector create jobs.” She said the government has got to start living within its means and spend less.

Gay Marriage is “Bad Public Policy”

Curzon asked Rep. Hartzler about her position on gay marriage. “I think it’s bad public policy,” she said. “I really think marriage between a man and a woman is the best for society and for families and has prevailed for thousands of years, and that’s what we should stick with.” Obama up till a few months ago had been against gay marriage. He “evolved” his position in advance of a major fund-raiser attended by prominent LGBT activists.

On Potential Running Mates for Romney

Curzon asked Rep. Hartzler who she’d like to see as Mitt Romney’s running mate. “There are a lot of excellent candidates out there that I think would do a great job, and so I’m not coming out for any particular one, but I’m encouraged at several of the people I hear being talked about. I don’t know personally very many of them,” she said, but spoke about her House colleague Paul Ryan, who she does know. “He’s a very, very great guy, very smart, and would certainly be a worthy person to have on there with you.” Rep. Hartzler had met Marco Rubio only once, but liked what she heard him say. “The others sound good too,” she said.

More information about Rep. Hartzler’s campaign can be found at http://www.vickyhartzler.com/.

SarahNET Radio Interviews Palin Endorsee Sandy Adams

This week on The Palin Update with Kevin Scholla: Congresswoman Sandy Adams, the first House candidate endorsed by Sarah Palin in 2012 is Kevin’s special guest! The Florida Tea Party darling is in a battle for her seat against an entrenched D.C. politician. Hear this Air Force vet and former law enforcement official explain why her conservative ideas are best for the Sunshine State and America! There is so much going on in Palin Land that this will be show one of two this week! Tune in NOW to SarahNET Radio ON DEMAND!

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin had endorsed Rep. Adams in 2010. Rep. Adams said her re-endorsement was special for her and “I’m so honored to have her help and endorsement….”

The Lessons of Service

“I think being the child of a military enlisted man – one of four [children] – and traveling with him and learning about different cultures and different things out in the world besides – you know – your own little community also helped frame who I was; along with the fact that when I enlisted and later was the wife of an enlisted man who was deployed, so I’ve seen the military as the child of a military person, as the wife of a deployed military person and as an active duty person. So, that’s given me a real round-about look at how the military operates and what military families go through on a day-to-day time, and it’s so important that we understand that these are men and women are out there fighting for the very freedoms we enjoy. And, I think that old saying is always going to be accurate. Freedom is never free. And these young men and women, they go out and they fight so we have the opportunity to live in a free nation and a free country, and so it really did frame who I am, by being a part of military life,” she said.

Scholla asked, “and your sheriff’s experience? Something similar?” Rep. Adams had received Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s endorsement.

“Yes, being a law enforcement officer was very fulfilling, and it gave me the opportunity to provide for my daughter. I was a single parent for the first 20 of her 25 years, and so having the ability to continue my service as a law enforcement officer upholding our Constitution once again – as you know when you’re sworn into the military, you swear to uphold the Constitution and when you’re sworn in as a police officer, you swear to uphold the Constitution – and that’s something that I take very seriously. And, it was a very fulfilling life. I loved my law enforcement career. I still believe that I’m a police officer through and through, because I believe in our nation, and we are a nation of laws,” Rep. Adams said

Stark Contrast Between Rep. Adams and her Opponent

“Now, your race here is another one of those incumbent versus incumbent deals, but you two are not the same. You’re a Tea Party freshman, while your opponent has been in D.C. forever and cuts deals with the likes of Barbara Boxer. Big difference?” Scholla asked.

“Yes. My opponent is 20 years incumbent….He loves earmarks, and he’s not ashamed to say it and he’s been quoted as saying it in some of the papers. But, the reality of it is we can no longer continue to spend the way my opponent has been spending. When he took office, we were left with $4 trillion in debt. We’re now almost $16 trillion in debt. Washington as usual has got to stop, and that’s one of the things that myself and 86 other freshmen were sent to Washington in 2010 to tell Washington, ‘It’s time to stop the spending. It’s time to get the debt and deficit under control and repeal ObamaCare,’ and that’s exactly what we’ve been trying to do and that’s exactly what I’m going to continue to fight for, because our children and grandchildren, and their children deserve to have the same opportunities that we have,” she said.

Rep. Adams said her incumbent opponent has requested at least $4 billion in earmarks so far.

“When you hear, ‘oh, earmarks aren’t so much,’ they do add to our debt and deficit and you’ve got to remember what they are: these are things that are kind of air-dropped in – in the middle of the night – and it’s to sweeten the pot so that people who were otherwise less prone to vote for the bill will actually vote for bad policy, because they’re getting something – that sweetener so to speak – in the bill. And that’s what happens. They vote for it,” she said.

True Conservative and Relentless Reformer Rooting Out Crony Capitalism

“In endorsing you, Sarah Palin said, ‘we must support conservatives who are with us on the issues, but not weighed down with the burden of crony capitalism that is so prevalent in Washington, D.C.’ She goes on to say, ‘unlike her opponent, Sandy is free from the shackles of lobbyists and backdoor dealings in Washington.’ On the money?” Scholla asked.

“Yes. Absolutely on the money. The people I represent are the people I represent: the people of this district and the people of America. I have always said from the very beginning that “Representative” is not a title. It’s a job description. I work for the American people. I work for Central Floridians and I’m going to fight for them every step of the way. Like I said, I want the same opportunities that I was able to have so that your children and my children and their children will have those. And right now, because of the way Washington is operating for all these years, during which time my opponent was part of it and is part of it, they have – both parties – put us on a fiscal cliff. And here we are. And if we continue Washington as usual, we go off the cliff, and we cannot do that. Our children deserve better,” she said.

“Now, your opponent has brought in a lot of money. I’m hoping you’ll bridge that gap now with Palin Power, but his cash – isn’t a lot of that from special interests?” Scholla asked.

“Yes. A lot of it, and we’re hoping to bridge it too, but I always say, ‘if you’ve got the right message, it works,’ and we’re looking forward to getting a little bit more support and we’re hoping that with the endorsement will come a lot of help our way from a lot of good, true conservatives throughout this great country, because we could use their help, and if they would like to come and help us, it’s very easy. All they have to do is go to www.sandyadams.com.

Rep. Adams’ Priorities: Control Debt and Deficit, Repeal ObamaCare

Sholla asked Rep. Adams what her priorities will be if she is re-elected.

“My priorities will always be: get our debt and deficit under control. Make sure the government is working for you – that you’re not working for government. And repeal ObamaCare. That is now – by the statements of our own Supreme Court – the largest tax increase in our country’s history – on the American people at all levels of income. We need to repeal it. It needed to be repealed when it was first passed, because we all knew that if you put government bureaucrats between you and your doctor that – it still needs to be repealed – whether it is a tax, a mandate, or a penalty – it still puts government between you and your doctor and it is going to ration care. And, as we have all seen since its passing, healthcare costs are going up, not down. People do not like this, and they have asked us to repeal it and we are going to keep on until we do,” Rep. Adams said.

Rep. Adams’ Pro-Life and Staunch Supporter of Second Amendment

“It also looks like anyone who is pro-life or who cares about either the Second or the Fifth Amendment should vote for you too,” Scholla said.

“Oh yes! I am definitely pro-life, and I love my Amendments. Let’s put it that way. I do carry a gun. I’ve been a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment all the way through my career, and I’m going to fight to ensure that all our Amendments are protected, but I do believe in life and I definitely believe in our Second Amendment,” Rep. Adams said.

Rep. Adams on Gov. Palin’s 100% Successful Endorse Record for 2012 and Leadership

Scholla asked if Rep. Adams was impressed with Gov. Palin’s endorsement record so far. She is now the seventh candidate this year to be endorsed. Five primaries have been held and 100% of Gov. Palin’s endorsed candidates won those primaries. “I think Mama Grizzlies enjoy this sort of thing: helping those who want to protect the Constitution and busting out the endorsements, teeth, claws, and all when necessary,” Scholla said.

“I think you’re absolutely right, and I am impressed with the Governor, and I’ve always been impressed with her. She’s a strong lady. She cares about this country, and she fights for what she believes in, and those are all great characteristics,” Rep. Adams said.
