Mr. L: Thoughts on Mitt Romney & RNC Sarah Palin Snub

[ad]

Mr. L in his latest video broadcast delineated how Gov. Palin benefits regardless if the GOP establishment invites her to speak at the RNC Convention or not. He believes that the party establishment will probably not invite her for fear of Romney and other “establishment darlings” being upstaged. He noted that most people voting “for” Romney are voting against Obama. “It’s not about Mitt,” he said, but Romney’s advisers and supporters are “too arrogant” and “too stupid” to see it.

The RNC certainly would not welcome the type of speeches that Gov. Palin has given in venues such as Indianola, CPAC, and Michigan. Mr. L said the RNC could either invite her and put her in a slot of low importance – which would be utterly disrespectful; or “write her speech for her – which would be a “rah, rah Mitt Romney speech” – and load it into a teleprompter.” Under either circumstance, Mr. L said Gov. Palin would be better off not being invited at all and handling things from her rented space in nearby Channelside Bay Plaza.

He said that the RNC and the Romney campaign are alienating both Gov. Palin and her supporters – who they need to help get Romney elected. Many Palinistas are disaffected over her not running and Romney becoming the nominee to begin with. The onus of unifying the party’s base does not lie with its various constituents – Palinistas among them – but with the Romney campaign.

Mr. L provided some history on conflicts the Romney family has had with conservatives within the Republican Party going all the way back to 1964. “Barry Goldwater and George Romney (Mitt’s father) never got along.” Mr. L spoke about hate letters back and forth between the two men. Mr. L’s sees the motivation of Romney running as being related to keeping a family legacy. Now, with him as the nominee, we have to put all that aside to get Obama out of office. “Romney is a means to an end,” Mr. L said, but he also said the reason we have a dead heat in polling between Obama and Romney is that “you have two hypocritical phonies running for office at the same time.”

If Gov. Palin speaks in a key spot and is permitted to speak in her own words, it’s a major win for her, Mr. L said, because she would top her 2008 speech (which was written by RNC operatives). “She’s a new, improved Sarah Palin; a totally different woman from 2008. Version 2.0,” he said. If the RNC does not invite her or gives her a bad slot, it solidifies her as an anti-establishment underdog, ginning up more support for her.

Mr. L said that the RNC chose as its next-in-liner, a loser who could have won against McCain, but was feckless.

Gov. Palin he said “galvanizes conservatives; helped the Tea Party; helped the resurgence in 2010; she speaks not to people or down on people but for people – the middle class, the people in small business-land, the average, ordinary, hard-working world that I believe both parties have abandoned. She even appealed to Latinos. That’s right. If you look, there’s an article out there – WikiLeaks of all places put out – that there are documents and emails that the McCain campaign staffers were talking about how Florida Latinos loved her….many of these guys on campaigns, these strategists don’t think with common sense.”

Gov. Palin has been vetted, and had all 25,000 of her gubernatorial – and many personal – emails exposed to the world, Mr. L said. Romney flushed his emails and had some 17 hard drives from his gubernatorial offices wiped. Gov. Palin may have made mistakes on the 2088 campaign trail, such was with Couric and Gibson, but Romney had a near meltdown with Fox’s Bret Baer – in friendly territory, so Gov. Palin certainly does not have a monopoly on campaign trail mistakes. Couric’s ratings have tanked and Gibson is in retirement and long forgotten about.

In his own synopsis of the video, Mr. L, wrote:

Is Mitt Romney and the RNC so stupid to make the mistake to not invite Sarah Palin to speak at this year’s convention? Judging from who Romney has in his campaign, is anyone surprised? An invite will allow her to top the RNC speech she gave four years ago. No invite will solidify her outsider, anti establishment status. It looks like Mitt Romney is following in his father’s footsteps in alienating the conservative wing of the GOP if this is true. Either way it goes, I’m fine with it. This and more!

The Tea Party Folks

By LindaBee

The Tea Party Folks

They got up from their rocking chairs, and slowly headed for the door, They’re old, retired, grandparents, who just won’t take it anymore. Hearing their President mock them and their neighbors on National TV, Was a sign things have clearly “changed,” but in a way they can’t believe! He fought in World War Two, protecting America, and Freedom of Speech, He worked hard all his life, and taught his kids to be patriotic like he. She stayed at home, raised their children, and kept their family fed, She taught the young to be respectful, and the Bible was nightly read. They saw “changes” in their America, honest politicians became dishonest fools, They witnessed the “Pledge of Allegiance” being removed from public schools. Their President openly ridiculed them, ’cause they disagreed with Government choices, They were shocked their President would criticize Americans for having opposing voices. Well, enough was enough they had finally decided on that warm and sunny day, So they joined a local Tea Party and now they’re called “terrorists” in their old age. And when their President mockingly said he was amused by those Tea Party folks, Those Tea Party folks remembered in November how he made them the butt of his jokes. And when “We the People” went to the polls in November of two thousand and ten, We voted out those who betrayed our trust, and in two thousand twelve we’ll do it again.

A Personal Look at Sarah Palin and The Undefeated

By Donna Galloway
O4P/SE Texas Regional Coordinator

Last night I went to see an exclusive showing of The Undefeated, the new movie that chronicles Sarah Palin’s political history. As a long time Palin supporter, I was excited to be given the opportunity to see this movie before its public release. I went into the theatre believing that I would enjoy the movie, but I had not considered the impact that the film would have on me personally.

The beginning of the movie was filled with clips that I had seen before during the 2008 Presidential campaign, with the likes of Matt Damon, Rosanne Barr and David Letterman saying the most vile and demeaning things about this woman that they really knew nothing about. I sat there anger welling up inside of me, the feeling of protection for this woman who was unexpectedly thrust into national politics save for her love of Country and a servant’s heart.

As I continued watching, the anger inside me subsided as her story was told. How she entered into politics and what she accomplished during her first two terms as mayor of Wasilla. As has occurred many times over the years, I was once again struck by the feeling “This is an amazing woman”. That feeling continued through the screening.

What many don’t know, including her supporters, is that Sarah Palin took her small town of Wasilla and grew it into a prosperous business community. It’s because of Sarah Palin that businesses such as Home Depot and Wal-Mart came to her small town, which resulted in many jobs being created and the community thriving. But Palin didn’t stop there, she went on to serve on the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission and became the most popular and powerful Governor of the largest State in our Union.

She went on to become the first female Vice Presidential nominee of the Republican Party and has become the great defender of the American people, standing up and speaking out for us when nobody else would. While other politicians play footsies with the status quo and business as usual, Sarah Palin takes on the Democrats and those in her own Party who would have her sit down and shut up. It’s at great personal sacrifice that Sarah Palin speaks out to restore the principles that our great Country was founded upon.

The Undefeated, takes what you know about Governor Sarah Palin and broadens your understanding of all she has accomplished and all she is yet to accomplish. I left the theatre last night knowing that it is up to every single Palin supporter to bring in people to see this movie. I believe that every Sarah Palin hater, especially those that think she is “ignorant” should see this movie and every former supporter who thinks she is a quitter should do so as well.
Don’t like Sarah Palin? See The Undefeated, I dare you!

Gov. Palin on Freedom Watch: "Love to Give White House Fits"

“I would love to give the White House fits and give solutions to America’s problems,” Governor Palin said tonight during an interview with Judge Napolitano on his Fox Business show Freedom Watch from her home studio in Wasilla, Alaska. “This is not about Sarah Palin. What does the middle class desire in government? They want Government to get out of the way,” she said midway through the interview.
Judge Napolitano opened the interview asking Gov. Palin if she felt vindicated knowing that “there was no there there” in the 24,000 released emails and that it “showed you hard at work.” She answered that press coverage shows their priorities are skewed. “I hope those who read the emails got to learn about oil and gas policy, energy independence, fish and game, the Second Amendment, why I opposed the stimulus plan…between having my personal emails hacked, and a former staffer hoarding five years of emails to put out-of-context in a book, I have nothing to hide.”

On Congressman Weiner’s resignation, Judge Napolitano asked if Gov. Palin thought Congress was right to demand his resignation or if the people of Brooklyn and Queens were entitled to have, “even a pervert representing them” if they so chose. “They are entitled to have someone like Weiner if that is what they really, truly want, but they deserve better.” Gov. Palin said he should have resigned immediately, as his actions “rendered him impotent,” eliciting a hearty laugh from the Judge.

When asked if Congresswoman Michele Bachmann is prepared to be President, Gov. Palin said “she is prepared,” and touted Bachmann’s Tea Party credentials, and “common-sense conservatism.”

“Anybody but Obama,” Gov. Palin said emphatically. Judge Napolitano asked Gov. Palin if she ever envisions herself in a debate like the one earlier this week featuring several 2012 candidates. “Once in a while, I do she said. It’s natural. What I want to see is GOP contenders call one another out on their records…Obama was not vetted by his party [and the press],” she said. “I would want to know if someone changed their spots” and why.

Judge Napolitano said that a 2012 Presidential run by Gov. Palin would be a game-changer and give the White House fits. “I would love to give the White House fits and give solutions to America’s problems,” she said.

The Judge asked Gov. Palin if she thought any of the 2012 contenders were the “genuine article.” “There’s lots of genuine articles who understand common-sense conservatism, and free market values – some declared and some not.” Judge Napolitano pressed further, asking “what if the GOP chose a big government Republican?”

“We have to make sure a nominee surfaces who supports smaller, smarter government. Even so, things cannot get any worse under a Republican administration. Anybody but Obama.”

Gov. Palin concluded the interview saying that she supports Speaker of the House John Boehner’s resolution on Libya. “Congress should stop Obama from engaging in a war a) we can’t afford, and b) he has no consent for.” She further stated that bombing combatants is not a support role, but is engaging in hostilities. But, Gov. Palin expressed her preference that Libya be resolved by Congress, not by the judicial system.

Sarah and Goliath (Part 2)

By Robert Wiles

On March 30, 2011, I wrote a blog titled “Sarah and Goliath.” I now feel compelled to add on to the first blog, thus the title “Sarah and Goliath (Part 2). As of this writing, I have read two articles that confirm the theories I wrote about in my first blog. You can read the articles here and here. I concur with the author of these writings and have myself written on the subject on several occasions. My First blog, “Why We Need Sarah To Succeed” outlines my theories regarding the Left’s, Elites’ and Media’s efforts to besmirch Sarah. And their crusade continues today with as much vile and hatred as ever.

It has become evident to me that party affiliation has nothing to do with elitism, but power does, the power of control. If one doesn’t follow certain “rules” that have been set up by the elite, you are anathema and you need to be destroyed. Sarah Palin does not follow the elite’s rules; therefore, “Operation Destroy” has been enacted. For decades, we the people have been told what to do, what to believe in, who to vote for and how to think. The elites have ruled the roost for years. Who are these elites? I will described them as such: they are the ones that want your vote, your viewership, your alliance, but not your well being or individuality.

If we take a close look at Sarah Palin’s history, there is no alliance between her and the elitist establishment at all. She is her own individual and stands firm on her values and principles. She refuses to be controlled by anyone on the Left or the Right. That doesn’t set well with the powers that be. Sarah strongly believes in the Republican Party’s planks and basic platform; unfortunately, some in the Party have moved away from these fundamental truths that have proven time and time again to be successful. Governor Palin has a strong “We The People” base, and this has caused a great fear in the upper echelon. With Sarah Palin in power, elitism will fail. Sarah vs. Goliath.

Goliath (elitism) lives in fear. They have never seen such an uprising of “the people” rallying around one person who isn’t “of their kind.” They fear who she talks to, who she cares about and who she gives her attention to: We The People. She doesn’t need focus groups because she knows where her focus is…the people. So, why the false polling, false reporting, and hate and vile spewing? Ah! Yes, Sarah is not only for the people, she is also of the people. So, in fearing Sarah Palin, who do the elites really fear? You! In bashing and lying about Sarah Palin, they are really bashing and lying about you!

We are being told that Gov. Palin doesn’t “abide by the rules.” Whose rules may I ask? The rules of the elites? If they are waiting for Sarah to play by their rules, they have a mighty long wait. She’s not going to do it. She’s not going to do it in her life, her bus tour or her possible candidacy for President of The United States. Period. While we’re on the subject of rules, let me ask a few questions. Whose rules put this Country’s unemployment rate in the double digits? Whose rules have put the housing market in peril? Whose rules have put America in a debt crisis? Whose rules have put Americans at the highest peak ever on food stamps? I can go on and on, but I think you get the point. The “rules” of the elites just don’t cut it anymore…and actually, never have.

So, it will no longer be Sarah and Goliath. It is now Sarah and David(s). We Americans are now “David” and we will help Sarah Palin restore this Nation to its former glory. When Sarah wins, we the people win. When Sarah succeeds, we the people succeed. We don’t need to have a Yale or Harvard vocabulary. All we need to know is that our neighbors are unemployed and losing their homes to foreclosure. We have been promised by the Harvard and Yale educated folks that things are getting better, but if we look around, it won’t take long to figure out that they are not. No, we don’t need an elitist mentality or an elitist vocabulary, we need Sarah Palin!

Gov. Palin on Hannity: 3rd Party will rise if no GOP Restoration

A third party will rise up if the GOP continues to resist common-sense Constitutional conservatives who were swept into office in the 2010 mid-term elections, Governor Palin said to night in a three-segment interview with Sean Hannity from an undisclosed location likely in New Hampshire.

She said the GOP has strong planks but “needs to get its stuff together.” A third party could split the conservative vote, resulting in another four years of Obama. Gov. Palin predicted dire consequences if Obama were to be re-elected: “We cannot have four more years of Obama…the nation will go bankrupt, and we won’t have a friend in the world,” because he will have angered all our allies.

Gov. Palin said she has great respect for the Ryan plan and that Obama is lying about it cutting Medicare, and leaving those with autism and Down Syndrome to their own devices. To the contrary, the Ryan Plan saves Medicare, Gov. Palin said. On our current economic path, Medicare would cease to exist at all, because a bankrupt nation would not be able to fund the program. Obama also cut Medicare when ObamaCare was enacted into law.

When questioned about her Presidential aspirations, Gov. Palin said “I love my freedom and individualism. You don’t need a title to effect change.” She dismissed as sensationalistic media coverage over her statement that Romney would face challenges because of the mandates associated with RomneyCare.

On Donald Trump, Gov. Palin had met him prior to the bus tour and she admires him for his business acumen, being a non-politician, and holding Obama accountable for things like the birth certificate.

“We should find inspiration in all these candidates, they all have their strengths,” she said. But, Gov. Palin said, “shared values are not enough.” She fears that many of the 2012 hopefuls will “not be aggressive enough,” giving in to fear and political correctness. “We need a fundamental restoration of America,” Gov. Palin said emphasizing the theme that underpinned her Northeast bus tour.

On MSNBC’s accusation that the bus tour violated US Flag Code by using a flag to advertize, Gov. Palin said, “What a goof! …What a joke! [The MSNBC reporter] has no clues what the laws are.” She said the “this week of touring was one of the best weeks of my life, meeting with wonderful Americans,” and spending time with her family.

On 2012, Gov. Palin said she would not be running a traditional campaign and never has. A decision on whether she will run is weeks away.
