SarahPAC: Support Principled Leaders

Ed. Note: The following letters were sent via Postal Mail by SarahPAC. Every attempt has been made to reproduce them as faithfully as possible to their original formatting.

Though not requested in these letters and not authorized by SarahPAC, now is a good time to bundle a small-donor money bomb with this. Imagine if half of the over 3.5 million supporters on Gov. Palin’s Facebook page donated just $2. SarahPAC would raise $3.5 million minus transaction fees. If half these supporters donated just $5, SarahPAC could have $8.75 million. With $10 donations, half of the supporters on Gov. Palin’s Facebook wall could generate $17.5 million for SarahPAC. Though this fund-raising letter is geared toward mid-range donors, donations of any amount will help SarahPAC and make a big difference.

SarahPAC-North-Star

Dear [Donor],

Last month at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) outside Washington, DC, Gov. Palin brought the house down.

During her speech, she paused for a moment, pulled out a “Big Gulp” soda pop, and took a nice long drink.

The crowd went wild.

As she put it, “Oh, Bloomberg’s not around. Our Big Gulp’s are okay. Shoot, it’s just pop with low-cal ice cubes in it. I hope that’s okay.”

It was such a great moment.

A wonderful illustration of how absolutely ridiculous the liberals have become in their efforts to have the government run every aspect of our lives.

And as one of SarahPAC’s generous supporters, I want you to have this exclusive photo of that special moment.

After the speech, some even called it the “Palin Liberty Pose” saying Gov. Palin looked like the Statue of Liberty as she held her Big Gulp aloft.

But if you know Gov. Palin, you know it’s never about her. It’s about this great country you and I love.

And that’s what Sarah talked about during her speech:

If “Believe in America” is more than just a catchy campaign slogan, then we have to believe in America’s exceptionalism, and her greatest achievement that no one is guaranteed success but everyone is guaranteed an equal opportunity at success.

The greatest lie that the government tells is that government is the way to realize this guarantee. There is a simple reason why Washington, DC is an island of prosperity in a nation mired in near recession. Whenever government expands, it’s the well-connected that reap the benefit. The more government intrudes into our lives and businesses, the more it picks winners and losers.

The more crony capitalists win, the more the rest of us lose. Whether it’s green energy or free Obama phones or prophylactics, if you don’t have a team of lobbyists in DC or a canceled contribution check, you’re not at the table – you’re on the menu.

As you know, [Donor], our goal here at SarahPAC is to put an end to this big government, crony capitalism approach by electing principled leaders who will stand for freedom.

People like Sen. Ted Cruz, who’s been doing an amazing job in Washington and introduced Gov. Palin at CPAC by stating: “I would not be a Senator today if it weren’t for Sarah Palin.”

[Donor], Ted Cruz can say that because of you.

It’s your support for SarahPAC that allows Gov. Palin to have such an impact on political races.

And, my friend, we’re just getting started.

Gov. Palin concluded her remarks at CPAC with this:

I have been so blessed to spend so much of these past years getting to know even more of America, not from the top down, but from the heart looking out.

And this I know, there is more wisdom, more character, more grit and common sense in the soldiers and the Mom’s and the teacher’s and the laborers and the firemen and the fishermen and the students and the cowboys – and other extraordinary Americans that I’ve met along the way, than will ever be found in the cocktail parties of power across the river.

And if “We the People” have one message to send to Washington, I’m sure it would be this: Get Over Yourself. It’s not about you.

Isn’t that the truth!

It’s not about the consultants and pollsters and power brokers who think they know so much.

It’s about America. And freedom. And liberty. And principles. And the Constitution.

[Donor], I’ve said this before, but let me just say it once again.

The Left wants to elect people who will help Barack Obama “fundamentally transform America.”

We want to elect people who will “fundamentally transform the way Washington does business.”

Leaders who will put:

*** real people over petty politics

*** strong principles over empty promises

***and foundational ideals over self interests

Will you continue to help us, [Donor]?

Can I count on you to continue standing with Governor Palin and SarahPAC?

Will you renew your support today by sending a contribution of $100, $150, or even $200?

Whether $100, $150, $200, or any other amount, every dollar you can send will make a real difference as Governor Palin and our entire SarahPAC team work to elect a new generation of conservative leaders.

Leaders who will stand against the big government, big spending, crony capitalists in BOTH parties.

Thanks in advance for your generosity and faithfulness. And thanks for standing with Gov. Palin for liberty and freedom!

Sincerely,

Tim Crawford Signature

Mr.L: Sarah Palin Speaks For The Country Class; That’s Why I’m Loaded For Bear

Mr. L described an exchange he had with an RNC fund-raiser calling about a “pledge” made in 2011 to donate. “This is 2013 and the pledge is null and void!” Mr. L thundered on the phone. “Do you know who Sarah Palin is?” he asked the caller. “Yes,” the caller said. “Do you know what SarahPAC is?” Mr. L followed up with. The caller responded, “ugh, yes.” Mr. L concluded, “that’s where I donate all my money and also to candidates I like. You’re not getting any money from me today and I don’t know when you’ll be getting money.”

Ruling Class vs. Country Class

Mr. L said we have a ruling class and a country class, the latter being ordinary people (not to be confused with country club class, which would be the ruling class). The ruling class is at war with us – the country class. He said that’s why, he’s loaded for bear, referencing the SarahPAC video released toward the end of March. “They have the power and the money, but we have the numbers,” he said. “They have a penchant for arguing the absurd.”

Mr. L said Gov. Palin’s Liberty Pose went over so well, “because most of the country class despise nanny state politics.”

Democrats and Republicans Coordinate Attacks on SarahPAC

Mr. L said the attacks on SarahPAC and the “Loaded for Bear” video were immediate and coordinated, because Gov. Palin is a mortal threat to the Ruling Class Party, which the Democrats and Republicans both comprise. “They hate her, because she is what they have been pretending to be for such a long time – the voice of the little guy. That was the con job of the Democrats going back 50 years,” as he showed the “Loaded for Bear” video with the soundtrack dubbed out. “Today, they’re the establishment,” Mr. L said. Meanwhile, the Republicans “people like Rove are upset that Palin and others like her and people who are just bloggers like you and me – we are on the brink of upsetting their arrangement of cozying up to that ruling class to make deals with it and appearing as if they oppose it is going to be over.” Mr. L said it’s all appearances and many Republicans are “joined at the hip to radical Democrats.”

Mr. L said he believes the attacks were coordinated by Karl Rove, John Avlon and others to discredit SarahPAC. They’re using the “ethics violations” ploy like the leftists in Alaska did to try to get her out of politics. “It’s amazing that these people are so afraid of a woman in the far reaches of Alaska who they claim is irrelevant that they have to resort to these leftist Alinksy tactics against her.” He said, both the Democrats and their Republican partners “created this monster known as Sarah Palin and now they’re trying to kill it and they never will.”

Leftist Absurdity

Mr. L quoted from Our Sarah: Made in Alaska and compared us to Animal House – with us being the Delta Theta fraternity under Bluto and the Ruling Class being the opposing fraternity. He said the equivalent of the entire population of New York City is unemployed and spoke about how right-wing talk radio is thriving while centrist and leftist talk radio is virtually non-existent now.

Mr. L said Avlon probably took offense to the “Loaded for Bear” ad because he and his associates are anti-Second Amendment. Mr. L and Avlon had a Twitter battle over the latter’s assertion that “Reagan supported an assault weapons ban,” which he never did. He said people who do this with Reagan are either trying to co-opt his legacy to suit their agendas, or destroy his legacy. He said the people who attack Gov. Palin are nobodies who get fame only because they’re using her name.

He spoke about SarahPAC maxing out donations – including “in-kind” donations, which must be documented – to candidates. He referenced a Conservatives4Palin comment about how consultants can drive candidates deep into debt with high-priced fund-raising mailers which cost more than the money raised. The consultant then brands the candidate as a “radical” and tries to get them to “moderate their views,” or the candidate is brokered to a special interest. “Campaign debt becomes the tool for owning and controlling the candidate, particularly after the win, but even in the loss.” Gov. Palin’s endorsement interrupts the “get the candidate into debt” sequence.

Co-Opted Hypocrites

Those calling Gov. Palin a “hypocrite” over consultants would malign her as not being serious if she ran SarahPAC out of her house using only Todd and Bristol. Marco Rubio’s PAC spends huge money on consultants and very little on candidates. He spoke about Ron Paul raising $40 million and the whereabouts of that money being unknown; and how Paul transferred campaign cash to his non-profit organization. He said Paul is a con artist who also took $500,000 from his presidential campaign and put those monies in his congressional campaign “while the GOP frat house” stood silent. “They like Rubio, and Paul was never a threat.” Gov. Palin is attacked, because she is a threat, he said.

Establishment Stupidity

Mr. L said the Ruling Class wants a Jeb Bush vs. Hillary Clinton race in 2016 and are doing everything they can to co-opt the Tea Party. Rubio is being pushed as a “Tea Party guy.” Mr. L said Rubio and Rand Paul have both been co-opted. Clinton would win against a GOP moderate simply because she is a woman. He said if the Republicans were smart, after the 2014 elections, they would go to Sarah Palin with hat in hand and say, ‘what can we do to help you?’ But, they’re not going to do that, because they’re stupid – and they’re so stupid that they’ll sit here and let the left dictate who is and who should be the standard bearer.”

Book of Sarah Not Closed

Mr. L said it would be “a cold day in Hell” before he would let the Ruling Class tell him who should be that standard bearer. He said if Gov. Palin wants to run in 2016, she should regardless of whether the establishment backs her or not. “It would be an uphill climb to win the nomination, but I believe she can do it. She’s done it before,” he said “against formidable odds, formidable opponents and 50 years of establishment in Alaska.” Mr. L concluded, “the book of Sarah is not closed.”

Mr. L’s Synopsis

I told one RNC caller to take a long walk off a short pier. I educated another as to why I only donate to SarahPAC. I explained to him that we have a ruling class and a country class in America and the republicans have failed to speak for people like me in the country class. Sarah Palin speaks for me and others in the country class and that’s why I’m loaded for bear, CLICK! If you thought that the attacks on Palin’s “Loaded For Bear 2014″ ad were immediate and coordinated—you’re right. They were. No Labels co-founder John Avlon is either misinformed or disingenuous in his harried claims against SarahPAC. The book of Sarah is far from closed and the new chapter has yet to be written. This and more.

Dr. Gina on SarahNET Radio: Wife Swap Differences About Citizen Engagement

Dr. Gina Loudon is the guest on The Palin Radio Update with Kevin Scholla! Loudon recently appeared on Wife Swap and as expected the liberal program attempted to make her look bad for being a conservative Christian, even though the other family consisted of a couple that shares a girlfriend. Dr. Gina tells Kevin why she went on the show and why she believes we must infiltrate pop culture just like Sarah Palin has suggested. Governor Palin is loaded for bear! A new SarahPAC video has been released. Plus Palin remembers a fallen hero and delivers messages for Passover and Good Friday. Steel Resolve, our weekly commentary with Sarah Steelman is featured as well.

Wife Swap Episode Featuring Loudons, Envys

wife-swap

“We knew what were were signing up for,” Dr. Gina Loudon said about Wife Swap, an ABC reality show, she and her husband John participated in. According to the show’s producer, “In this new series, the mothers in two celebrity families with vastly diverse values switch homes (but not bedrooms) — embarking on a journey like no other and revealing the various ways some controversial celebrities live their lives.” Conservatives “need to take on the culture,” said Dr. Gina, co-author of Ladies and Gentlemen: Why the Survival of our Republic Depends on the Revival of Honor. “We need to be on the front lines of the culture conversation,” she said adding that John and her prayed long and hard before going on the show.

People Can See Through the Edits

“We knew there would be edits, but we also knew people would see through it,” Dr. Gina said. The comments on the show’s episode page appear to bear out her assertion. Despite portraying the polyamorous family with whom the Loudons were swapped as heroes and the Loudons as “right-wing extremist nuts,” comments toward the polyamorous Envy family are running highly negative. Dr. Gina said she could not discuss the reasons why the Loudons did not go to the round-table meeting that concludes the Wife Swap episodes, for contractual reasons but said she would divulge as much as possible on her own show throughout the week.

“I was thrown out,” she said. She used the “pearls before swine” analogy and continued, “sometimes you say what you have to say. It’s either falling on open minds and hearts…I wasn’t getting through…conservatives need to know when to say when and how to spend time wisely.”

Scholla said, “the guy they paired you with had all sorts of anger issues and called you all kinds of profane names. Him and his wife shared a girlfriend. I thought it was their daughter at first.” Indeed, many of the negative comments on the episode’s page are related to the polyamorous husband’s behavior toward Dr. Gina, and the women in his life – even among leftists who panned Dr. Gina and the Tea Party.

Rush Limbaugh on Dr. Gina’s Portrayal on Wife Swap

If we Don’t Take Risks, we are Certain to Lose

“I take Rush’s comparison of me to Gov. Palin as a compliment, but disagree with Rush about staying out of the culture. We need to engage. We might win, we might lose, but we have to take risks. We are certain to lose if we don’t do it,” Dr. Gina said. “They will always laugh and criticize conservatives….People are now talking about this who weren’t talking about politics before. I think that’s a good thing.”

Don’t Have to Compromise Conviction to be Compassionate

Dr. Gina said her quote “if you can’t defend your rights, you don’t have any rights” was quoted back to her at least a dozen times, so it’s resonating. “If you aren’t offending somebody, you aren’t saying anything,” she said. She harkened back to Pastor Rick Warren who said the following two statements are lies: “if you disagree with someone’s culture or lifestyle, you must fear or hate them,” and “to love means you agree with everything they believe or do.” Both are wrong, Dr. Gina said. “You don’t have to compromise conviction to be compassionate, and we can love people even if we disagree.”

Scholla noted that on the episode “saying anything about homosexuality was no good, but mocking Christ as a ‘comic book figure’ was just fine.” He continued that Mr. Envy – the wrestler husband – was shocked about Dr. Gina’s rules – “no one tells my kids what to do!” – but he signed up for that by doing the show. As part of Wife Swap, the swapped wives draw up rules for how the house runs during their stay there.

We Must Be Culture Warriors

Dr. Gina said there was a lot of editing on both sides. For instance, the polyamorous wife laughed at a lot of John Loudon’s jokes. The job of a reality show producer is to entertain, Dr. Gina said, not to be accurate. “We have to know that and not be afraid to laugh at ourselves.” She said it is not fair for Palinistas to compliment Gov. Palin for being a culture warrior and not be culture warriors ourselves.

Scholla said the narration of the show was dishonest – for instance the “inconsistencies” in Dr. Gina’s record and in John Loudon breaking a rule that was never broken. Dr. Gina said she thinks Mr. Envy was emotionally and mentally abusive – something the negative comments on the show’s page also extensively point to. “There were definite differences in how he runs his household and how I do,” she said. “John helps around the house, and I’m used to that.” Dr. Gina described her Wife Swap experience as being a culture clash. “No one seeks to live in an uncomfortable situation. That part of Reality TV is very real.”

Scholla also pointed out that the polyamorous wife who was paired with John Loudon barred all talk of religion and politics in the house. Mrs. Envy’s husband, meanwhile never voted in his life. “Not merely a low-information voter but a no-information voter,” Scholla said.

Differences About Citizen Engagement, Not Family Structure, Relationships

“When you are here and enjoying the freedoms – which by the way he (the polyamorous husband) was enjoying – because of this Constitution and the teeth it has because of the Second Amendment, it’s his obligation as a citizen to be involved…take part…and be able to speak about it in coherent terms,” Dr. Gina said.

She said the greatest difference between the two families was not family structure and relationships as the show led viewers to believe, rather it was the difference in attitudes toward civic involvement and engagement.

“To each his own. I respect the right for people to have freedom of religion, but you have to the responsibility to know where those freedoms are based. That’s what I was trying to get through about the Constitution and the Second Amendment. With that piece of paper, he has the freedoms he was trying to get me to condone. It’s not my business to condone it, but without the Second Amendment, that piece of paper has no teeth,” Dr. Gina said.

“The conversation became circular. Why was it okay to say ‘no’ to politics and religion but not okay to say ‘no’ to polygamy?” Dr. Gina asked, following up with, “Liberals will use this. We need to be prepared, not afraid.”

Scholla chuckled that Dr. Gina – who adopted a child with Down Syndrome – was called “evil” He said, “Dr. Gina kept her cool and didn’t flinch, while the wrestler dude screamed at a woman.” He said Dr. Gina was very “Palinesque.”

Change Happens When Lives Touch, People Communicate

Dr. Gina said she did not get to the meet either Mrs. Envy or the girlfriend. “I wish those women all the best. I saw some changes were made. It always happens when lives touch and people communicate.”

No Issue is an Island

Scholla asked when gay marriage suddenly became the most important issue. Dr. Gina said no issue can be isolated – ultimately, they are all inter-related. Gay marriage has economic implications. So does abortion, especially when taxpayer funding is involved.

“Sarah Palin has illustrated how we can engage the culture,” Dr. Gina said, adding that Reality TV is a “fertile battleground,” in which to do that and “we have an obligation to fight.

Steel Resolve: Politics, Supreme Court Decisions Doth Make Strange Bedfellows

“Politics makes strange bedfellows as they say and sometimes so does the Supreme Court justices,” Sarah Steelman said as she opened her Steel Resolve segment. “Thankfully, there are conservatives who still believe in protecting our Fourth Amendment rights. The Supreme Court correctly ruled this week that using a drug sniffing police dog on a suspect’s property without a warrant violates the Fourth Amendment’s protection against unreasonable searches.”

Steelman continued, “Scalia was joined in the majority by Justices Clarence Thomas, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Sonya Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan. Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Samuel Alito, Anthony Kennedy and Stephen Breyer all dissented. The ruling said there is an expectation of privacy in your home and police officers can’t bring a trained drug sniffing dog to your front door. They have to obtain a warrant first.”

“‘When it comes to the Fourth amendment the home is first among equals,’ Justice Scalia wrote. This right would be of little practical value if the states agents could stand at a home’s front porch or side garden and trawl for evidence with impunity which is what the Miami-Dade police force were doing in this case with trained dogs.” She concluded, “it is good to say that at least two conservatives Justices Thomas and Scalia were not afraid to join with the liberals on the court when it comes to protecting the Bill of Rights. Like I said, sometimes politics or Supreme Court decisions make strange bedfellows.”

SarahPAC-North-Star

Dear [Donor],

As one of the strongest and most generous supporters of SarahPAC, I wanted to make sure you saw this recent message from Gov. Palin.

She talks about the recent “sequester” and notes that “D.C. needs to grow up, get to work, and live within its means.”

I hope you’ll take a couple of minutes to read her comments and then consider continuing your support for Gov. Palin and SarahPAC as we head full-force into this new election cycle.

[Donor], as you know, our goal at SarahPAC has always been to help elect a new generation of commonsense conservatives from the grassroots.

We want to elect leaders who won’t back down and fall apart under pressure from the establishment and liberal media.

Men and women with strong convictions, strong values and strong messages.

We know we’re not going to change Washington overnight.

But piece by piece, brick by brick, little by little, we’re putting leaders in place who understand the real problems and are dedicated to getting America back to the vision of our founders.

Back to freedom and prosperity and limited government.

And that’s why I’m so hopeful you’ll continue to support Governor Palin and our SarahPAC team as we head toward the crucial 2014 mid-term election.

Because together we can continue to make a huge difference for this country, [Donor].

The Left wants to elect people who will help Barack Obama “fundamentally transform America.”

We want to elect people who will “fundamentally transform the way Washington does business.”

Leaders who put:

*** real people over petty politics

*** strong principles over empty promises

*** and foundational ideals over self interests

Will you continue to help us, [Donor]?

Can I count on you to continue standing with Governor Palin and SarahPAC?

Will you continue your support for SarahPAC today by sending a contribution of $100, $150, or even $200?

Whether $100, $150, $200, or any other amount, every dollar you can send will make a difference as Governor Palin and our entire SarahPAC team work to elect a new generation of conservative leaders.

Thanks in advance for your generosity and faithfulness.

Sincerely,

Americans are sick and tired of yet another ginned-up crisis.

D.C. needs to grow up, get to work, and live within its means.

The real economic Armageddon looming before us is our runaway debt, not the sequester,
which the President advocated for and signed into law and is now running around denouncing because he never had any genuine intention of reining in his reckless spending.

Remember that this sequestration deal came about because of the long debt ceiling standoff in the summer of 2011.

It wasn’t the ideal outcome for anyone, but it did at least include real deficit reduction of about $110 billion per year for 10 years, which is still nowhere near enough to close our massive
deficit.

Keep in mind that since the sequester passed, the President has already hit American
families and small business owners with his tax increases, or “more revenue” as he likes to call it.

The American public doesn’t want tax increases; we want government to rein in its
overspending.

If we can’t stomach modest cuts that would lower federal spending by a mere 0.3% per year out of a current federal budget of $3.6 trillion, then we might as well signal to the whole world that we have no serious intention of dealing with our debt problem.

If we are going to wet our proverbial pants over 0.3% in annual spending cuts when we’re
running up trillion dollar annual deficits, then we’re done.

Put a fork in us.

We’re finished.

We’re going to default eventually and that’s why the feds are stockpiling bullets in case of civil unrest.

If we ARE serious about putting our fiscal house in order, then let’s stop the hysterics, tighten our belts, and take our medicine.
