Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin said she hopes Obama “pays his respects in some gesture of condolence” for someone who “sacrificed so much to keep him and all of us safe,” Tony Lee reported tonight in Breitbart News.

“We may never know to what extent Chris kept us free or how many lives he saved by his brave actions in the line of fire. But his fellow warriors know how important he was. My son Track couldn’t meet Chris when Todd and I first met him because Track was deployed to Iraq,” Palin wrote. “Then when we got to know Chris even better, our son was deployed in Afghanistan. We’ve met a lot of people in recent years, and Track has been privileged to meet them as well. But he said about Chris, ‘Mom, he’s the ONE person in the entire world I would be star-struck to meet. He’s it.’”

The Palins met Chris Kyle in Pella, IA, when The Undefeated premiered. Kyle was in charge of security. He befriended her husband Todd while they were on Stars Earn Stripes. Kyle was murdered last week along with Chad Littlefield by a fellow veteran who suffers from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Kyle’s memorial service, was held today. Gov. Palin was present at the memorial service and will be at his funeral followed by a 200-mile procession to his grave site tomorrow.

Todd Palin has clocked 2,000 miles on his new Ski-Doo snowmachine and Scott Davis has clocked 1,700 miles on his, both without failures of any kind in pre-Iron Dog tests and practice, Ski-Doo reported on their Facebook Page today. “The sleds are working great,” they said. “We just add gas and oil.”

Todd Palin was featured on the cover of Alaska Magazine this month. On November 1, 2012, Bristol Palin announced that her father and his partner would be switching from Arctic Cat to Ski-Doo MX Z X E-TEC 600 snow machines for the 2013 race. Palin cited the Rotax engine’s fuel mileage and power and the durability, reliability, and handling of the Ski-Doo machines as being factors in his decision.

Todd Palin last year, also was on the reality show, Stars Earn Stripes and highly regarded by his teammates on the show.

Todd Palin Featured on Cover of Alaska Magazine

Todd Palin, the husband of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is featured on the front cover of Alaska Magazine in the publication’s coverage of this year’s Iron Dog race. Palin is a four-time champion and eight-time winner. The first five places in the Iron Dog are considered winners and first place is champion. He has been racing for over 20 years, which means 12 out of the 20 or 75% of them were wins. Palin is partnered with Scott Davis this year and the pair constitute Team 11. As part of the feature, Alaska Magazine did a complete Question and Answer interview with Palin.

PAmom4Palin found an online transcript of the interview, written by Debbie Cutler of Alaska Magazine. Palin was born in Dillingham and commercial fished all his life. He moved to Wasilla in 1981. He loves Alaska because of the freedom it gives him to fly, explore, hunt, boat, and snowmachine. I loves Iron Dog in part, because it gives him the ability to see rural Alaska. Palin spoke about the importance of sports and hard work in his life.

“Growing up in rural Alaska commercial fishing taught me hard-work ethics. You got a limited time to catch the fish and when you’re taught that at such a young age, you carry that work ethic throughout your whole life. I worked on the North Slope as a facility production operator for British Petroleum (BP) for many years and am very grateful for that opportunity—great jobs on the North Slope that allow you to maintain that Alaska lifestyle.”

He continued,

With fishing, I was blessed to be taught by my mom, my grandparents and other family members. I was blessed to be taught by them how to fish and then now we get to enjoy teaching our children how to fish. It’s very gratifying to be able to show the rewards of hard work. The Slope was a great job, great place to work. It’s 35-plus years of success—good companies to work for, great people to work with—and when you work in those elements, the weather, the North Slope, everybody really trusts each other. We really have to be a solid team because you’re up there and wind could be blowing 100 miles per hour and temps 50 below…

Gennifer Flowers Interviews SarahNET Radio Host on Gov. Palin

Recently Kevin Scholla, host of The Palin Update on SarahNET Radio appeared on Gennifer Flowers’ radio program SEX, POWER & POLITICS on WGSO 990am in New Orleans to talk about former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin! Kevin addresses what makes Sarah Palin so special, her potential plans for the future, the country’s outlook following Obama’s reelection, and much more!

Background

Kevin Scholla has been a sportscaster since 1999 and has been hosting SarahNET Radio for over a year with the goal of “keeping Gov. Palin’s name out there whether or not she is running for any office.” This is the sixth or seventh broadcast of SEX, POWER, & POLITICS for Flowers who is well-known for allegedly having had an affair with former President Bill Clinton. She is an actress and singer, has a jewelery line, and is the author of Passion and Betrayal. Flowers was in a pictorial spread and on the cover of Penthouse Magazine in December 1992.

Gov. Palin’s Future?

“I would love to see her get back into a race. Do you think that is a possibility on down the line?” Flowers asked Scholla. “I do. You know, a lot of Palin supporters were very disappointed when she officially stated she would not run for President in 2012. A lot of folks were hoping that was going to be the case, me included. One of the things we wanted to do with this program was give her fair coverage, when or if she ran for President” Scholla said about his Palin Update show.

He continued,

“…but when she didn’t run, obviously we changed our direction, but there are opportunities down the road. I mean obviously with the Obama win, you’re going to need both a new Republican and a new Democrat in 2016, so she’s a young woman with a lot of time ahead of her. Others have talked about a possible Senate bid somewhere, either in Alaska or Arizona, but you know what? We’ll see. Either way, she’ll make a difference whether she holds a title or not.”

Gov. Palin and Mass Market Media

“Well, absolutely,” Flowers responded, following up with, “does she still have her reality show?”

“Well, that show ended, but it is available on DVD and everywhere – the Sarah Palin’s Alaska program – and Bristol Palin, her daughter had a show recently – Life’s a Tripp – with her and her son, and of course Bristol Palin was on Dancing with the Stars. And Todd Palin had a run on the Stars Earn Stripes program where he got to play a military hero for a couple of weeks, so they’re out there and shining the light on some positive things and having fun along the way.

The Palins’ Positive Attitudes and Smiles

“You know, I think the way – the whole family really – is able to keep the smiles on the faces – and just keep that positive attitude despite all the nasty attacks that have been leveled against them is really commendable and really impressive,” Scholla said.

Flowers responded,

“Well, I can relate to that. It’s certainly not easy. It’s one of the hardest things that you can ever go through, and accomplish – to be determined to just have that smile on the face, and have a positive attitude and I’m sure that she feels and they feel – the family feels – like I do that they know who they are. That’s where it starts obviously, and I can tell that she has a very strong sense of self, and a very healthy self-esteem, and obviously she has a great support system around her, meaning her family, and friends, and that means so much and goes such a long way to allow you to and encourage you to stand up in front people – in her case with that beautiful smile on her face. The thing about Sarah is not only is she smart and accomplished, but she’s a sexy gal.”

“Let’s be frank here, Gen…” Scholla interjected. “It’s another reason that she threatens the left and a lot of the Republican establishment. They don’t know how to handle someone like her. The whole package. She has the looks, has the the smarts, has the family, has the success, has the knowledge, and they say, ‘wait a minute! What are you doing infiltrating the old boy’s network?’”

“Exactly. What makes those old boys nervous is that maybe they’ve got something to look at,” Flowers said. “I mean, you know, God forbid somebody would have a great figure like Sarah instead of Hillary Clinton’s big, fat ass, but anyway – excuse me, Lord. I mean, that’s why I think she had the problems that she did, and all the craziness.”

Extraordinary – Ordinary

“What’s interesting about Gov. Palin: she’s that unbelievable perfect combination of an extraordinary person, but at the same time an ordinary person,” Scholla said.

He continued,

“And, I think that is her appeal. You know, she has stood up to special interests, to crony capitalism, to corruption. She is not afraid to stand up to anyone on either side of the aisle, but at the same time people look at her and she reminds them of someone they may know, whether it’s someone in the family, or a friend, a neighbor – someone you can talk to, and relate to and isn’t reading off a teleprompter and isn’t a politician – a scripted politician. The one thing I think you’re going to get with Sarah…you can trust her. There’s honesty there. There’s no acting, and the Tea Party movement is about that. It’s about a bunch of Americans from all different walks of life, many of them are independents.

They’re not registered Republicans. In fact, Todd Palin is not a registered Republican. He’s an independent. But, they just want smaller government and they want to be able to have their own freedoms and their own liberties that made this country great, and she’s been the one who has been able to voice it in plain English – the same way we talk around our kitchen tables – they way we’re having fun on the phone doing this interview and talking – not in this marketed, political way that comes across so phony for both parties.”

“You’re exactly right, and that is one of the things I enjoy so much about her. And I love her little “isms” – being a mother and a housewife type “isms” that she would come up with. What was the one about the pitbull…” Flowers said. “The difference between a pitbull and a hockey mom is lipstick,” Scholla said. “I loved that. That is so true,” Flowers said.

“And you know she’s taken it further with the whole mama grizzly persona. You protect not only your children the way a mama grizzly would protect her cubs, but you protect your country and your constitution that same way. And you know, the wonderful thing about her too is if you’re a supporter of her for what she believes, that’s the most important part, but you also just love to see her drive the left crazy,” Scholla said.

Stars Earn Stripes Winner Eve Torres: Gov Palin “Sweet, Lovely”

WWE star Eve Torres described former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as “a lovely woman” after they met along with Todd Palin when Stars Earn Stripes was being filmed, Mark Malkin, E Online reported September 4. “We didn’t talk politics, but she was excited for me when I won. She was proud that I did it for the girls out there. She was really sweet….At the end of the day, she’s a mom and a nice woman,” Torres said. The 28-year-old wrestler had dinner with the Palins.

Torres praised Todd Palin’s performance in the series, saying, “I was so impressed with Todd Palin,” Torres said. “He performed really well. They have a son in the military so I think a lot of it for him was to say, ‘I’m doing this for you and all the other troops.’”

Torres said the series does not glorify war and violence, but does glorify our men and women in uniform and their work.

Happy 48th Birthday Todd Palin

Todd Mitchell Palin was born this day in 1964. He was Sarah Heath’s high school sweetheart and on August 29, 1988, they married. Since then, Todd has been Gov. Palin’s rock of support as she has said so many times. When she served as Alaska’s governor, Todd was known as the “First Dude.”

He was a contestant on Stars Earn Stripes and has won four stripes worth $10,000 each for Armed Services YMCA Alaska.

Photo courtesy of and Copyright © 2012 Justin Marley Alaska SnowRider Magazine. H/T Katie DeFrancesco, Sarah Palin News (SPN) for photo lead. Gov. Palin and her husband Todd prepare to hug moments after his 5th place 2012 Iron Dog win.

He is a four-time Iron Dog Champion and an eight-time winner. The first five places in the Iron Dog are considered winners and first place is champion. He has been racing for over 20 years, which means 12 out of the 20 or 75% of them were wins.

He worked on Alaska’s North Slope a week on and a week off for much of his life. Gov. Palin too traveled frequently in the course of her work, making raising the family and maintaining their marriage a challenge – one that many couples under those circumstances fail at.

Though Todd races snow machines at speeds reaching 120 mph in pitch black darkness, or hunts moose with his .338 (Winchester?), he was never too macho to change diapers, clean the house, cook and do whatever else it took to ensure his family was cared for. When Kevin Scholla, SarahNET Radio asked Todd about “wearing the mom hat” during an interview, he said,

“Kevin, there is no question. That is the toughest job in the world: be a mom, and you know, I was blessed to have opportunity to on-the-job train on the North Slope. My job was week on – week off for many, many years – close to 20 years, and when I came home, I made sure I was taking care of everything, because when I was gone, Sarah had to be the mom and the dad and take care of the house, but it provided for my family for many years, while allowing us to continue to live the Alaska lifestyle that we enjoy. You know, commercial fishing in the summer time, Iron Dog in the winter time, and kids activities throughout the years. But, being a mom is the toughest job in the world and when you get to put the mom hat on and have dad kid time, it’s pretty special.”

The staff of US for Palin wish Todd a happy birthday and many more.
